As a society, we are failing to support children who struggle to access traditional education in mainstream schools.

Undiagnosed learning barriers and un-met needs result in poor behaviours emerging in the classroom, hindering the progress of both the individual and the group.

Misunderstood students are all too often labelled as ‘disruptive’ and many spend extended periods in isolation rooms, losing precious learning time and becoming further disengaged from education during their most vital years.

We can help!

ALP Bristol has been established to address this problem and support Primary and Secondary aged students within the Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset areas.

ALP fills the gap left by special schools, pupil referral units (PRU’s) and other alternative provisions, many of which are non-teacher-led.

All ALP units are led by qualified teachers who have specific expertise and extensive experience in dealing with challenging student behaviour and guiding students to positive outcomes.
